Icon Help, MTDEditor [Migrated from ModDB]
« on: March 04, 2017, 02:42:47 pm »
Hello YVaW devs, I am trying to make an icon for the mc55. I took the picture attached to the mc55 download page, converted it into .tga via an online in browser program, and opened up the MTD editor. From there I opened the mt_commandbar.mtd file and it asked for another file so I used my new "i_button_mc55mrb.tga" file associated with the mc55 in the xml. MTD editor rejected it, calling it "corrupted". When I opened the edit dropdown menu and it refuses to let me insert my .tga file. Is there something I did wrong? Was the online in-browser .tga converted bad?

Okay I see the problem. What you have to do is add your file to the mt_commandbar.tga

1. Open up mt_commandbar.mtd

2.When prompted open up mt_commandbar.tga.

3. Then you can add your file and save it
